Whew!!! May 2008 will go down as one of the busiest and most exhilarating business months of my career. We successfully launched Vault USA on May 1 at the Disaster Recovery Journal Show in Orlando. Then, I spent the rest of the month finalizing the acquisition of More Group by Forsythe and MoreStor Vault by Vault USA.  I am delighted that both acquisitions came to fruition as they offer tremendous opportunities for all parties involved in the transactions.
 
I had the distinct pleasure and honor founding More Group, Inc. in 2004 with a great bunch of professionals. The More Group team became a leader in storage integration in New England over the last four years.  Forsythe realized that adding the More Group expertise to Forsythe was a sound business decision and a great beachhead in their New England district.  Yes, I am sad that I will not being working with my More Group colleagues on a day-to-day basis. However, I am excited that they will be selling & supporting Vault USA with Forsythe joining the Vault USA team as a national service provider. Forsythe is a leader in our marketplace and it is a tremendous opportunity to have them offering the Vault USA solution to their customers.
 
The More Group team is in great hands with Forsythe.  I will now devote all my professional efforts to building the Vault USA model and brand into a market leader.  The online backup and data recovery marketplace has  incredible potential. I spent the majority of my career selling and support tape based systems to thousands of customers throughout the world.  I don’t want to say tape is dead, but it is perfectly evident that online backup and vaulting offers distinct positive advantages over tape based solutions.  Just eliminating the chain of custody risks that are inherent in tape based solutions enables customers to substantially improve their ability to safeguard their data and ensure that they are compliant in event of disaster.
 
I firmly believe Vault USA is perfectly positioned to become a market leader.  We have assembled a great core team at Vault USA, and you can expect great things from them in all aspects of Vault USA support, sales, and innovative technology development. Thank you for your continued confidence.
