Vault USA eliminates the need for costly and complicated media libraries, tape drives, and tape management applications with a two tier backup platform. Tier One automatically backs up all your enterprise wide data and maintains a copy on-site on a Vault USA Onsite Backup Server appliance providing immediate local restores at local area network speed.  Tier Two offers offsite catastrophic recovery protection where Vault USA simultaneously encrypts, compresses and replicates your enterprise data and houses it at one of our impenetrable Vault USA Disaster Recovery Datacenters.

STEP 1
The first step is to backup and encrypt all of your enterprise wide data to the Vault USA Onsite Backup Server appliance at your site. Then, all of that data is automatically replicated to a Vault USA DR Center. Always rest assure that your data is completely secure while at your site, when "in flight" to the DR Center, and then "at rest" at the DR Center as only you have the power to decrypt it.

STEP 2
After Vault USA completes the initial backup and your replication data is loaded onto the vault at the DR Center, an automatic schedule is setup based on your choice of daily, hourly, or even continuous detection of the files you have changed or added. Vault USA software scans these files and extracts, compresses, de-duplicates, and encrypts only those parts of the files that have been altered.

STEP 3

Vault USA Onsite Backup Server appliance then maintains a local backup onsite and constantly sends the replication of any new and changed data across the internet to the vault at the DR Center. Thus, Vault USA automatically and securely transmits your enterprise wide data efficiently offsite and out of harm's way
